Fern Herbert
Fern Herbert is originally from the Caribbean island of Jamaica. She immigrated to the United States with her family at the age of 15. She attended High School in New York after which her family moved to Washington state. Fern attended Seattle Pacific University and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in journalism and communication in 1988.
She worked as a Para-professional for the public schools in King County for about 7 years and then returned to get her law degree from Seattle University School of Law in 1998. She has been in law practice for 27 years, with an emphasis on Estate Planning for the last 16 years.
Fern is also an Associate Instructor for the Washington state colleges and is a former volunteer attorney for King County Neighborhood Legal Clinics. Fern lives in Snohomish County with her family. For fun Fern enjoys legal novels, swimming, dancing, biking and the Pacific Northwest outdoors.
